【Distribution of tea areas】
The origin of Zhengshan Souchong is initially defined as 117°38’6’~117°44’30’N latitude 27°41’35”~27°49’00”. With a radius of 565 square kilometers, it extends to Masu in the east, Hangdun in the west, Pikeng and Guwangkeng in the south, and Tongmuguan in the north. The production area is still centered on Tongmuguan, and there are also highland tea gardens at the junction of Chong’an, Jianyang, and Guangzhuang counties.

【Natural environment】
The production area is surrounded by mountains on all sides, with high mountains and deep valleys, and the climate is cold. The foggy area has the climatic characteristics of low temperature, high precipitation, high humidity and long foggy days. There are more than 100 foggy days, cloudy and foggy all day between spring and summer, 1200-1500 meters above sea level, warm in winter and cool in summer, large temperature difference between day and night, average annual temperature of 18C, short sunshine, long frost period, sufficient soil moisture, fertile and loose , with high organic matter content.
